Terms of service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to websites and online services operated by Coxico ("we", "us"), including the marketing site at coxico.xyz and the MAIDS application (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. These Terms are intended to be interpreted in line with the laws of the Republic of Singapore.
1. The Service
MAIDS provides software features for AI-assisted analysis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service with reasonable notice where practicable.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Personal data (Singapore)
We process personal data as described in our Privacy policy. Where the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) applies, we aim to handle personal data in line with that law and the policy. If the PDPA gives you rights (such as access or correction), you may contact us as set out in the Privacy policy.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Violate applicable law or third-party rights.
- Attempt to probe, disrupt, or bypass security or rate limits.
- Use the Service to generate or distribute unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
- Resell or scrape the Service without our written consent.
4. Plans and payment
Some features require a paid Premium subscription. Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. By purchasing, you also agree to Paddle's applicable checkout terms. Pricing and renewal terms are presented at checkout. See our Pricing page for a summary of plans.
5. Intellectual property
We retain all rights in the Service, branding, and software. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service according to these Terms.
6. Disclaimers
The Service and any model-assisted outputs are provided "as is". Outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for how you use results. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law (including the laws of Singapore where they apply to you), our total liability for claims arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim (or fifty dollars (USD $50) if none). We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, except where such exclusion is not allowed under mandatory law.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or risk to the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that should survive will survive.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes to paid features may be notified by email or in-product notice where required.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Service (including non-contractual disputes) are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would apply another jurisdiction's laws.
Subject to any mandatory consumer or other protections that apply to you under the law of your country or region and cannot be waived by contract, you and we agree that the courts of Singapore shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle those disputes or claims.
